Welcome to the be/co Website by Lola Bakare, dba be/co (“be/co”) Throughout this website, the terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to be/co. By visiting our website and/or purchasing something from us, you engage in our “Services” and agree to be bound by the following be/co privacy policy (“Privacy Policy”), including those additional terms and conditions and policies referenced herein and/or available by hyperlink on the be/co website, including our Terms of Service. Please read this Privacy Policy carefully before accessing or using our website. 

As part of our mission to help make our services more transparent and customized for the individual needs of users, be/co collects and processes some of your information. What we collect and why: be/co collects identifiable information, such as your name, e-mail address, company name (if any), IP address, access times, information about orders you initiate, notes relevant to the Services, information about the job or Services, and information about the device and browser you use. In the future, we may gather other personal or non-personal information. If you purchase be/co’s Services, your payment is processed via Squarespace, subject to Squarespace’s Privacy Policy and Terms. If you opt into be/co, we store and use this information to pre-fill your checkout information. We may use this information to help customize and improve your experience when you visit be/co.

When we collect this information: We collect this information when you visit be/co website, or purchase Services offered on our website or engage us either by e-mail, contact form, telephone or post content on or through our website (including blogs and via our website contact form). We also collect any additional information that you might provide us. We also collect this information when you opt into be/co or use be/co to pre-fill your checkout information. 

Additionally, information about your computer hardware and software may be automatically collected be/co. What we do not do with your personal information: be/co does not and will never share, disclose, sell, rent, lease, or otherwise provide personal information, including its customer lists to third parties (other than the third-party services disclosed in this policy) for the marketing of their own products or Services.

5. HOW WE KEEP YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION SECURE

To protect your personal information, we take reasonable precautions and follow industry best practices to make sure it is not inappropriately lost, misused, accessed, disclosed, altered, or destroyed.

We perform annual audits to ensure our handling of your credit card information aligns with industry guidelines and standards.

To secure your personal information from unauthorized access, use or disclosure, be/co uses an SSL certificate for encryption. If you provide us with your credit card information, the information is encrypted using secure sockets layer technology (“SSL”) and with 2048 bit SSL on all pages. It supports security protocols up to TLS 1.2. Although no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, we also have the HSTS Secure enabled for an added layer of security. Note that our store is hosted by Squarespace. They provide us with a collective online platform that allows us to sell our Services to you.

No method of transmission over the Internet, or electronic storage method is 100% secure. Therefore, we cannot guarantee the absolute security of your personal information.

6. OPT-OUT AND UNSUBSCRIBE

We respect your privacy and give you an opportunity to opt-out of receiving announcements of certain information, even after you opt-in. Users may opt-out of receiving any or all communications from be/co by contacting us directly via e-mail correspondence at lola@makeitbe.co.
